After we have received your hair, we undergo these sensory and physical tests. (We will not damage or change your hair). The test is only used to determine the value.
After completing the test, we will transfer the purchase price to you based on our purchase table.
If the hair you have sent does not meet our purchase conditions, we will send it back to you at our expense.
If we determine in the incoming goods department that your hair is of higher quality, for example heavier, longer or in a different shade than specified by you, we will of course pay the price that results from our in-house inspection.
The "Deutsche Krebshilfe" ("cancer aid") thanks everyone who donated their hair in 2018. Meanwhile we donated a total amount of € 1.100.

We have been active in the secondary hair industry for many years and deal with the procurement and sale of human hair for the production of hair pieces, toupees, wigs etc. (for example for people who are undergoing chemotherapy). From a certain length, hair is a valuable asset and can be processed further. Since sales are often difficult for private individuals, we have created a portal for people who want to sell their hair with the haarankauf.com portal. Whether it is because of a new trend that they are wearing their hair shorter, selling an inherited braid from their grandmother or "conserving" their hair in advance of chemotherapy and wanting it to be processed into a wig for later personal use

You have the opportunity to find out about our purchase prices. Please note that these are subject to seasonal fluctuations and are also dependent on quality, color and length. The values given in the table only give an approximate value and are not binding.
We also buy hair from commercial suppliers such as hairdressers, makeup artists, etc. If you are based in or around Berlin, we will also be happy to assess them with you.

Many of our purchased hair are processed into wigs, which are then often worn by people who are undergoing chemotherapy due to cancer.
